Join us at The Block Theatre for the premiere of two new films from Atlanta filmmakers: Camera Girl and Nice Was a Choice — followed by an official after-party at Big Shots Country Bar.
Camera Girl
After witnessing Atlanta's underground rap scene firsthand, a quiet but driven young woman fights to make a name for herself. As she works to turn her passion for filmmaking into a career, she risks everything to prove she's more than just the "camera girl."
Written and directed by Timothy Lens, Camera Girl stars Rachel Rodriguez, Timothy Isaiah, and Laporsha Ellis.
Nice Was a Choice
Also screening is Nice Was a Choice, written by Timothy Lens and Tynessia Lett, and starring Laporsha Ellis, Roi Bowman, and Shaquill Laronz Warner.
Two Atlanta stories. One night celebrating independent film, local talent, and the people behind the camera.
After-Party at Big Shots
The night doesn't end when the credits roll. Head over to Big Shots Country Bar after the screenings for the official after-party — a chance to celebrate with the filmmakers, cast, fellow creatives, and Atlanta's film community.
Come for the premieres. Stay for the party.
